Cafe 100 hits it out the park once again! Coming from Miami to St. Petersburg, I had a hard time finding my beloved hispanic food. I wanted to try something new from the Cafe 100 menu, and Chef Bill recommended the Cuban sandwich. From the pressed slighty buttery bread, to the pork and ham, as the menu says, the cuban sandwich is the real thing. Every bite I took from the sandwich brought me that much closer to my home. It was delicious and as always inexpensive.

Cafe 100 is perfect! The food is fresh and always delicious. Just recently I ate the special of the month: chicken quesadillas and they were the best I have ever had. There was an abundance of juicy chicken in the quesadilla. The seasoning was just right and the queso sauce they had was the perfect complement. I left feeling full and completely satisfied. The atmosphere is very inviting and the employees are always extremely friendly and helpful. For the amount of food, the price is excellent. The only downfall about Cafe 100 are the hours. They open from 7am till 3pm on weekdays and close on weekends.

 

Great place for breakfast or lunch near the USFSP campus and ball park......close to everything. Cuban sandwich really good, as is everything else we've tried. Breakfasts are wonderful, and very reasonably priced. Attended a catered event by Cafe 100 which was superior in terms of variety and flavor

New owners have really kicked it a few notches the Chef specails are great every day and the prices can't be beat. great food at great prices For breakfast or lunch this is the place to be.There catered events are just as good both food and prices,and the presentation was excellent.

- Likes it - Wow! Great Restaurant.

We came into town to visit our daughter and see our new Grand! daughter & we got a tip to visit Cafe 100 in the Northern Trust building. Chef Bill makes great food from scratch and portions show that this is a labor of love for him. He and his staff are so friendly we had to bring our daughter down to enjoy this wonderful fare. I don't know how they make a profit at the low prices they charge. Thanks, Bill, for making a great visit even better.

(in Northern Trust bldg on 2nd Ave. S). The food is wonderful and fresh and they have something tasty for anyone. The owner/chef makes everything himself from scratch and it's all wonderful. The cost is low but quality is high!

I just wanted to take the time to say thank you to you and your staff for the wonderful meals you cooked for my family and I during our three-day vacation to St. Petersburg last month. Not only was the food delicious but it was also very reasonably priced. After spending $35 on room service for breakfast, I encouraged my wife and son to eat at your establishment and they loved it! Your staff is very professional, courteous and polite and they truly made my first trip to Florida a memorable one.

ABOUT THE CHEF
Executive Chef, Bill Higbee, has been cooking all of his life. He was involved in the ownership of a few local area restaurants: Mullberry Street and
La Doce Vita in the
late 80's and early 90's.
In addition, as a Corporate Food and Beverage Director for a local hotel group, he handled an average of 5 - 7 weddings per week for over 13 years.

Most recently, he worked in an upscale Jewish senior living facility serving 750 Kosher meals a day while specializing in
inside and outside Kosher catering.
